About Us

Concord Occasional Care is a trusted and long-standing provider of Early Childhood Education and Care in the heart of Canada Bay. Established in 1981, our mission has always been to provide high-quality, flexible and inclusive care for children in our community.

We understand that parents sometimes need occasional care for their children. We are here to support those needs by offering a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, play, grow and develop.

We believe that each child and family is unique. We work closely and respectfully with families to ensure that each child's needs are met. We strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment while fostering children's curiosity, creativity, and social skills.

Flexible Childcare

We are unique in our inclusive care setting where our children are not divided into age groups or separate rooms. The result is a learning environment where all children are connected, included and supported. We offer a creative early childhood program carefully designed to reflect the individual needs and interests of each child. You have the flexibility to book casual or permanent bookings, for a half or full day.

National Quality Framework

Our experienced staff are guided by the National Quality Framework as a foundation for ensuring that children in our learning environment experience quality teaching, learning and care. Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and specifically emphasises play-based learning and recognises the importance of communication, language, social and emotional development.

Children engage in a range of experiences across all the learning outcome areas in ways that optimise their learning and development. Our indoor/outdoor learning environments are nature inspired and eco-friendly providing an atmosphere that encourages discovery, play and exploration.

Experienced Staff

Our team of experienced and qualified educators are committed to providing quality care for each child, and we take pride in creating an environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all families. We are fortunate to have long standing educators which provides continuity of care for the children and ensures a strong, intuitive team of professional educators.

In 2023, we underwent Assessment and Rating under NSW Department of Education and was successfully rated as Meeting National Quality Standard (NQS) in all seven areas under the National Quality Framework. These standards set a high benchmark for quality care across Australia.
